Quality United Electrical Service Team was established in December of 2000. QUEST is organized as an area and industrywide labor-management cooperation committee under the authority of the Labor-Management Cooperation Act of 1978, 29 U.S.C. Sub-Section 175 (a) and 29 U.S.C. Sub-Section 186 (C) (9) of the Labor Management Relations Act for any and all the purposes set forth in the Labor Management Cooperation Act of 1978, including the establishment, operation and support of joint labor-management activities conducted by an area or industrywide committee designed to improve labor-management relations, job security, competiveness, productivity, organizational effectiveness and economic development.

This Trust Fund is administered by a Board of Trustees composed equally of Employer Trustees and Labor Trustees. There are six (6) Trustees, three of whom represent management and three of whom represent labor.
